Lock Keepers Cottage Review

You already know who my favourite family are, but it's time to let you know what my favourite building is. My favourite building is this:

I ordered it a few weeks ago but they took a while to arrive. Inside the box was the sticker sheet and instructions in very good condition!

The cottage came with some great accessories:

Inside, quite a few of the stickers are damaged, but I don't really care.

This is now where Captain Horatio Seadog lives.

But he doesn't live their alone:

Polly the Parrot lives with him! The next picture I love sooooooooo much, I am now using it as my profile picture instead of the Madeleine Merryweather pic!

I have also spelled out "Seadog" using the flags!!

I absolutely ADORE this set even though Captain Seadog isn't actually included! Polly is very collect able and is SUPER CUTE!!!

COMING SOON:

Nettlefield Family Profile

Father Ramsey

Ramsey Nettlefield brings in home baking to sell at the Country Market Tea Rooms. He stands at the doorway and welcomes everybody, which is a good way to show off his beard, which is very proud of!

Mother Caprina

Caprina Nettlefield works at the prescription counter at the Country Market. She grows herbs in the back garden, and then adds them to her husband's cakes to give them a fresh taste.

William, Nanette and Norris Nettlefield*

This terrible trio are always under your feet. Once they get to know you, they follow you everywhere!

One time they ruined their birthday surprise by following their dad into their parents room where they saw their mum wrapping it!!

*Norris Nettlefield is a made up character, I just ended up with a couple of extra babies;)

Bluebell Cottage review

Bluebell Cottage has always been special to me. And not entirely in a good way. It started in Christmas 2013...

I was shopping in my local Tesco ( type of supermarket ) and I noticed they had Sylvanians. At the time, I didn't have the Blackcurrant Café or Bluebell Cottage. I thought I would get one of them, but I didn't know which one to get. I eventually chose the Blackcurrant Café because it came with furniture unlike Bluebell Cottage. To make the two sets better value Tesco had added a figure in the box. The figure for the B Café was Teri Chocolate. The figure for B Cottage was a nameless brown mouse sister and desk and chair.

A year later I realised that had made terrible choice. The brown mouse sister was a fairly uncommon EasyBuy figure. I had been kicking myself ever since. Until now...

When I opened the box I saw this leaflet inside:

So I was VERY lucky when I found it on eBay.

The mouse sister is adorable!

I have named her Heather Hazelwood. Here is the house in Hazelnut Hollow:

Overall, a lovely looking building, and just a great addition to my collection!

Next post: Nettlefield Family Profile!

Policeman and police box review

Sorry for all of the confusion about the video. I have an iPad Air which is what I use for everything. I can't work out how to add a video, that I had recorded on my iPad camera, onto a blog post. Anyway, here's a review of one of my FIRST EVER SETS!!!!!  I have never taken PC Bobby Roberts seriously and probably never will but here's a review of the set that he comes with.

There were 2 sets that contained PC Roberts, one was a TOMY set with the figure and a bicycle and the other one was this one. You can buy this set online from the Sylvanian Families Shop in London. The police box looks good in any display and the badger figure is very collectible.

An Underwood badger is white with black but a Roberts badger is grey and black. PC Roberts also has cute sideburns. Any size of figure can fit in the box. I highly recommend this set!!!

Box opening

Sorry, I'm not sure when my favourite building is going to arrive in the post. So I decided to open I box I received a while ago from the Sylvanian Families shop in London. Here's what's inside:

The Calico Critters beagle and sheep twin babies, individual figures of the cottontail mum and sister and the ice cream cart in EU packaging. This is the first time I have put a video on my blog so tell me truthfully what you think of it in the comments.
